J&K government suspends 22 of its officials

Jammu and Kashmir Government has suspended 22 of its officials after they were found absent from duty in Bandipora district, an official spokesman said today.

Jammu and Kashmir Government has suspended 22 of its officials after they were found absent from duty in Bandipora district, an official spokesman said on Sunday.

A team of officers led by additional Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, conducted a surprise inspection of various offices in the district yesterday and found that 22 officials were not present in their respective offices, the spokesman said.

He said all the absentees have been placed under suspension.

The highest number of 17 employees were found absent from duty in the roads and buildings division, the spokesman added.
