J&K govt suspends 19 employees in Rajouri

Jammu and Kashmir government has suspended 19 employees of various departments for remaining absent from duty in Rajouri district.

Jammu and Kashmir government has suspended 19 employees of various departments for remaining absent from duty in Rajouri district.

The suspended employees include three lecturers, two masters, one accounts assistant and two senior assistants among other staff, an official spokesman said.

Swagat Biswas, Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, suspended the employees after inspecting Boys Higher Secondary School, Chief Education Office, Zonal Education Office and District Sheep Husbandry Office, the spokesman said.

He placed them under suspension with immediate effect, and has directed Chief Education Officer and District Sheep Husbandry Officer to charge sheet the absentees and submit a report after conducting an enquiry within a week's time.
