The float will move with the accompaniment of famous romantic folklore Waloo Mashooq Mainay. Big copper samawar (kettle) and paper mache vases (paper artworks) will also be a part of it.

"The theme of handicraft was chosen to give a boost to the handicrafts and tourism industry in the state," Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) Zaffar Iqbal Manhas told PTI.

"The tableau has been completed and it has been inspected and okayed," he said.

Designed under the guidance of artist Veer Munshi, it will also feature a shepherd girl with a few sheep.

'Waloo Mashooq Mainay' song is the shepherd girl's call to her lover... Where are you? ... I have dressed up for you with roses and flowers.. Please come and meet me or I will die.
