J&K sex racket accused surrenders in court

The CBI had announced a cash reward of Rs two lakh for information on Sethi when he failed to appear.

Anil Sethi, the former additional advocate general of Jammu and Kashmir who is wanted in connection with the sex racket in the state, surrendered in a court in Srinagar on Wednesday.

Sethi, who has been absconding and was declared a proclaimed offender by a court in Srinagar, turned himself in before the chief judicial magistrate in Srinagar, CBI sources said.

The CBI had announced a cash reward of Rs two lakh for information on Sethi when he failed to appear before the agency after he was named by a minor victim of the racket last month.
