The Dukhtaran-e-Millat, a radical women's organisation, on Tuesday said it would organise protests from next month if the politicians, bureaucrats and police officers allegedly involved in the sex racket in Jammu and Kashmir were not arrested.
"If politicians, bureaucrats and police officers involved in the sex racket are not identified and sent to jail by June 2, the Dukhtaran-e-Millat will organise protest demonstrations on every Friday throughout the (Kashmir) Valley," the group said in a statement.
It appealed to the people, including traders, imams of mosques and youths, to lodge protests every Friday till those involved in the scandal were arrested and punished.
Seven people, including Sabeena, the alleged kingpin of the racket, have been arrested so far in connection with the scandal that is being probed by the CBI.
