Private air-carrier Jet Airways has posted a net loss of Rs 384.5 crore in the second quarter of FY 2009, where as it had posted a profit of Rs 28.3 crore in the year-ago period.

The company's total income in the reporting quarter has, however, increased to Rs 3,258.04 crore from Rs 2,254.22 crore in the year-ago period, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange in Mumbai on Saturday.
