Both partners have launched a new initiative called Jet2Kerala, that would offer comparatively cheaper deals for tourists visiting Kerala. This is a first of its kind initiative in India to boost tourism.

The all-inclusive packages will be available only with select tour operators. Airline officials declined to reveal the cost of the special fare on offer.

Jet Airways, its low fare service Jet Airways Konnect and its all-economy subsidiary JetLite would offer travelers pan-India connectivity from all major parts of the country to Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode.

“When bundled together (hotel, airfare, transport and food) the offer is the cheapest,” said Venu V, tourism secretary, Government of Kerala.

Jet Airways and Kerala tourism have designed Kerala holiday options, packaged with Jet Airways tickets.

Jet2Kerala will offer travelers these packages catering to a range of price points.

“We have started taking bookings and have received overwhelming response,” said Sudheer Raghavan, chief commercial officer, Jet Airways.
