"There won't be any impact on the alliance between the BJP and JD (U) in Bihar...the two parties will continue their ties in the 2010 assembly polls," Modi told reporters.

He expressed satisfaction over the performance put up by BJP in Jharkhand.

"Ours is the single largest party and it has the potential to influence the formation of a new government in Jharkhand," he said.

Modi said the hung assembly thrust upon Jharkhand was not in favour of development. "It has paved the way for installation of a weak and unstable government through horse trading of legislators," he added.
