Actor Jim Carrey admits that the only thing that has ever ‘consumed’ him in life has been finding love.
The Hollywood funnyman, at a press conference for his new movie, The Number 23, revealed to reporters that there had been times in his life when his mind had been occupied wholly on the subject.
"The only thing that has ever consumed me is love. Feeling like, 'What is it? How do I get it?' All of those things have consumed my mind from time to time," People magazine quoted him, as saying.
However, now that he has found Jenny McCarthy, the actor admits that his search for the perfect woman is finally over.
"I feel that our relationship happened at a time that I am more ready than I have ever been in my life to have a relationship. We also encourage each other. We're both on the same path, so it's really – real," Carrey said.
And, its not only Carrey’s ability to make her laugh that has McCarthy smitten, but also the large, gothic-style fake tattoo he wore for the film.
"Jenny liked it! It was weird – it's amazing what a tattoo does for a girl," Carrey revealed to the reporters.
