JKUF has called upon people of the state to observe "Black Day" on October 22, the day Pakistani army in the guise of tribals launched an attack on the state.

Ajaat Jamwal said the agent provocateur Pakistan has not stopped interfering in the internal affairs of the state and is indulging into a continuous war against Indian nation since October 22, 1947.

"Pakistan is indulging in untold atrocities upon the population of Jammu and Kashmir and even in Pak-Occupied Kashmir on the citizens of the state," said Jamwal.

The continuous and active support to terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, mass migration of Kashmiri Hindus from Kashmir valley and attempts at raising communal tensions in Jammu region are direct interference in the internal affairs of the country.

"JK Unity Foundation has decided to put the events of invasion by Pakistan in its factual perspective and educate the people particularly the young budding students about these matters", he added.

Foundation appealed to all citizens of the state, social, cultural and political organizations to observe this day as 'Black Day' which ushered in destabilization in the state.

Those present were Kuljeet Singh, Dr. Indervir Singh, Rakesh Chargotra, Parvez Ahmed, Pushvinder Singh, Rashid Choudhary and Sanjay Gupta.
