Journalist Sunil Tripathi passes away

Sunil Tripathi, a journalist with the Sainik Samachar published by the Defence Ministry, died after a brief illness, ministry sources said. 34-year old Tripathi is survived by his wife and a son.

34-year old Tripathi is survived by his wife and a son. A post-graduate diploma holder in Journalism, Tripathi joined the Indian Information Service in 1998.

Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee expressed grief at the demise of Tripathi and described him as "a young, dynamic and a perfect communicator". He said it would be difficult to fill the void created by his death.
