JSW Steel on Thursday increased the price of galvanised steel from Rs 500 per metric tonne to Rs 750 metric tonne.

The Mumbai-based company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that the price hike is due to the steep increase in Zinc prices, a key raw material for galvanised steel. Zinc prices have increased by 10 per cent over the last couple of days, it said.
