Association State president Santosh Pathak declared the four-phase agitation programme in this regard. He alleged that the State government has increased the court’s working hours and curtailed vacations. He also demanded 50 per cent hike in salary in lieu of the extra hours.

On January 2-3, all judiciary employees would avail mass leave. During the second phase from January 4 to 7, they would stage dharna on the court premises from 10 am to 10.30 am and from 5.30 pm to 6 pm.

In the third phase on January 9, all State-level office-bearers including district presidents would take part in a hunger-strike on the High Court premises. In the last phase, Association members would go on an indefinite strike.
