The top five films are:

Rama Shama Bhama: This remake of Tamil hit Sati Leelavathi has raked in collections of over Rs.20 million in the first 25 days.

Anna Thangi: The film is turning out to be the biggest hit of 2005 in some centres in northern Karnataka, where it has outdone even Jogi. The flak it received has not affected the film's success at all.

Vishnu Sena: It was the most awaited film of the year and had a big opening. Its first two-week collections have been very good, with Rs 6.5 million in the very first week. It was sold to all distribution centres in Karnataka long before its release. It is expected to recover the costs.

Amruthadhaare: The film still holds after 100 days' run in Bangalore. The film is hoping for a silver jubilee with a collection of Rs 10 million. The film is doing well in smaller towns.
