"Any party which does not have any negative ideology obviously becomes a magnet and we will be looking at allies. Anyone and everyone can be (our) allies except those who are ideologically different from us," he said.

He, however, maintained that UPA allies in the previous government were still with the Congress. "I don't say allies have left us. We are in an electoral fray. We are competing with each other," he said.

He expressed confidence that his party will corner the maximum number of Lok Sabha seats from Madhya Pradesh.

"We expect that majority of the seats will come the Congress way," the Union Minister said.

Kamalnath said he was pretty confident about his victory from his pocket borough Chindwara constituency.
