Kashmir: Militant killed by security forces as encounter continues

The encounter is still going on, the official said.

The gun-battle in Buchroo village, 75 km from Srinagar, began after some suspected militants fired a few rounds at security forces who were advancing towards the village.

A police official said security forces have launched a cordon and search operation in the area.
