Former Advocate General S M A Kazmi was on Sunday appointed Chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Minority Commission for a period of one year, official sources said.
Kazmi, who started his career as a lawyer, had also worked as Chief Standing Counsel and Additional Advocate General of the state, they said.
