The restaurant has a smart red-and-white appearance, but it's the perennially open kitchen door that spoils the fun and the air. The chef is ex-Tea House of the August Moon, but he has been singularly unsuccessful in recreating the magic of his ex-boss, Master Chef Lo Ka Yan. With the food court next door becoming a beehive of activity, the loneliness of Kendo becomes starker.
