Kerala CM office receives hoax bomb threat call

Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan's office at the Secretariat in Thiruvananthapuram on Friday received an anonymous call threatening that a bomb has been placed there, which turned out to be a hoax.

Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan's office at the Secretariat in Thiruvananthapuram on Friday received an anonymous call threatening that a bomb has been placed there, which turned out to be a hoax.

A detailed search of the premise did not yield anything, police said.

The call was received at about 11.15 am from a mobile phone, official sources said adding that investigation is on to trace the call.
