KG student killed, 20 hurt in Jalandhar

A kindergarten student was killed and 20 others were injured, four of them critically, when the van in which they were going to their school collided with a tractor trolley at Shankar village near Nakodar in Punjab.

The deceased was identified as Jatinder Singh, a student of upper kindergarten, police sources said.

The condition of four children was stated to be critical and they were referred to the civil hospital, Jalandhar, they added.

Police registered a case against the van driver for rash driving.
