The mutilated body, which was run over by a train, was recovered on Tuesday.

The victim, Manish Thapa (22), who was trying to get into the army and worked as a labourer, was reportedly in a relationship with a 19-year-old Rajput woman from Missarwala.

The two were spotted together by the teenager’s father, Tejpal Singh, and her brother, Prithvi, on the roof of their house on Monday.

The enraged father and son caught hold of Thapa and their daughter and started beating him. The daughter managed to escape, but Tejpal and Prithvi allegedly attacked Thapa with a sickle and bashed him with bricks, killing him on the spot.

They then dumped the body on the railway tracks nearby, police said.
