Lalu to pen experiences from his political career

Apparently taking a leaf from VP Singh and Jaswant Singh, Lalu Prasad plans to pen facets of his political career.

Apparently taking a leaf from former Prime Minister VP Singh and NDA leader Jaswant Singh, Railways Minister Lalu Prasad said on Monday that he wants to pen facets of his political career.

"I will also write a book. It will deal with my experiences during the Mandal agitation... It was not easy; we survived lathi blows for that. There are so many things to be told," the Rashtriya Janata Dal leader said while addressing a conference of the All-India United Muslim Morcha and Dalit Christian Liberation Movement in New Delhi.

"Saying something from the dais might hurt certain people... It is better to say it in a book," he added.
