Landmine defused near Indo-Pak border

Security forces on Wednesday defused a landmine near the Indo-Pak border after it was detected by a villager in Jammu.
Mohan Singh found a landmine in his fields near the border in RS Pura tehsil of Jammu district early Wednesday and informed the security forces about it.
The troops recovered and defused the landmine safely, averting a major tragedy in the area, they added.
