Last rape accused arrested
The last absconding person accused in gang rape of an MBA student was arrested on Sunday afternoon from Sector 37. Three more accused, who were arrested on Saturday, were also sent to judicial custody on Sunday.

Noida Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) R.N. Mishra said, “A police team arrested Pushpender alias Tuniya, the eleventh and the last absconding accused, following a tip-off regarding his movement. The team also recovered a Tarot card belonging to the victim from him.”
The DSP said on interrogation Pushpender confessed to rape of the girl. “He was arrested from Sector 37 area around 3 pm. He was planning to move out of Noida.”
Meanwhile, the three accused, Sharad Yadav alias Omkar, Shashi Kant Yadav alias Kalu, Golu Jatav were sent to judicial custody by a remand Magistrate.
“It was Golu Jatav who had first seen the victim and her male classmate in the car and had called other boys. The accused were returning from Bulandshahr after a cricket match,” said Mishra. IG (Meerut) Gurbachan Lal had announced a reward of Rs 10,000 on the arrest of the absconding accused.
“We are planning to impose Gangster Act on all the 11 accused and the process for the same has been started,” said Mishra.
