Let faith show in action

For me my action should relate to my faith. If I say I am religious, I must justify that. Everyday I take it as a challenge to do good deeds to others, says Veejay Yd.

What's the point of praying if we have to hurt others? What's religion if we can't be of help to those who need us? These are pertinent questions we need to ponder before making noise about our religion.

I am a very religious person. I believe in God. By this I mean, I believe in the existence of a supernatural being. I have always been religious even as a child. My mother would take me to church and also to the temple. Birthdays would mean pujas and feeding the poor.

I attached a lot of importance to deeds. Good deeds in the form of helping others, feeding the poor or simply running for other's job gives me a lot of satisfaction. For me my action should relate to my faith. If I say I am religious, I must justify that. Everyday I take it as a challenge to do good deeds to others. And I try not to hurt anyone.

Even when it comes to faith, I am not rigid. For me one God resides everywhere. Be it in the temple or church or a mosque, He is there!

Also, I emphasise a lot of important on being a good human being. One surest way to keep in touch with God is by doing what He wants us to do. And that is just by being good.
