LeT terrorist held in Poonch, arms recovered

Security forces have arrested a Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) terrorist in Poonch and recovered some arms.

Security forces have arrested a terrorist of Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) outfit in Poonch and recovered some arms and ammunition in Rajouri during last 24 hours, officials said in Jammu on Saturday.

During search operation in Mendhar area of Poonch district, security forces apprehended LeT terrorist Zaffar but did not recover arms and ammunition from him.

He was later sent for interrogation, officials said.

In another incident, two 303 rifles and 50 rounds were recovered from Kalal-Gava forest in Budhal in Rajouri district. Search operation was being carried on in the area till last reports came in, they added.
