It has been quite a contrasting journey for Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Delhi Daredevils (DD) in the ongoing IPL so far.

While Rajasthan started with a bang, winning five matches in a row, Delhi were again off target, losing their first two matches including their first-leg contest against Rajasthan.

However, a lot has changed since the teams first met at Ferozshah Kotla where the hosts lost a last-ball thriller. However, like the previous edition, Rajasthan have lost track midway and have gone winless for five matches in a row. Delhi, on the contrary, have recovered from the sloppy start and in contention for a play-off berth at the moment.

Old concerns

For the Shane Watson-led Rajasthan, the script looked similar to their previous season as despite being well-placed in the first half of the tournament they went on to lose a play-off berth after hosts Mumbai Indians toppled them dramatically in a crucial encounter.

So, Rajasthan will have an opportunity to change things when they take on the resurgent Daredevils in their new home, Brabourne Stadium, on Sunday.

Though they are placed a comfortable second in the points table at the moment, given the fact that they have played ten out of 14 league matches, another defeat could seriously dent their aspirations for a second IPL title.

However, opener Ajinkya Rahane feels otherwise.

"Cricket teaches you a lot. When you win, (you) don't think too much. (But) when you start losing, you start thinking too many things. As a team we don't want to think too much. What matters is playing quality cricket," said Rahane.
