It is a case of two women in love with the same man, albeit at slightly different times. One loves him now, the other loved him earlier but love pangs seem to linger. The result as expected is there is no love lost between the two women. The man is Hugh Grant and women are Liz Hurley, who was with him for 13 years before drifting apart, and Jemima Khan, the current girlfriend of the famous actor.
Liz Hurley, whose current beau is Arun Nayar, was at her cattish best during an interview declaring that Grant had no plans to marry (Jemima). Miss Hurley could not hide her disdain when asked whether she got on with Jemima. " I don't see him that much these days, but I do know that he's not getting married either, even though that has been written about in newspapers.
"I think I would know if he was and I do know that he isn't." Grant's continuing felling for Hurley is said to have nagged and undermined his 18-month relationship with Jemima, although they recently spent very cosy and romantic holiday together in Barbados.
This rejoinder from Hurley has taken many by surprise. Currently reports were circulating that Jemima was finally coming round to Grant's repeated offer to get married.
To add salt to the injury, Hurley also said in her interview to a magazine that she was sill the closest friend of Grant and her boyfriend Nayar accepted it. " He (Grant) is a big part of my life and it hasn't been a problem for Arun. Hugh is my best friend and I can't imagine life without him."

A High Society gossip expert also revealed that there was icy coldness between the two ladies at the recent wedding of Sir Elton John. After a frosty hello, Jemima dragged her boyfriend far away from his ex. But distance according to Hurley is not going to affect her friendship (or fondness) for Grant.
The same informer said with a wry smile, who knows Grant and Hurley re-hitch leaving Jemima and Nayar orbiting in vacant loveless space.
