“We want stoppage of polling in migrant polling stations in Jammu because PDP is using its official machinery to ensure victory of party chief Mehbooba Mufti from Anantnag Lok Sabha constituency”, LJP candidate from Anantnag Sanjay Saraf told reporters here on Wednesday.

Saraf claimed that dozens of voters could not exercise their franchise as their votes had been cast earlier.

Saraf said the PDP was using “every method to engineer bogus voting”. “There are nearly 40,000 Kashmiri pandit votes which play a decisive role in a candidate's win”, he said, and added, “If bogus voting is done it would directly help PDP candidate Mehbooba Mufti”.
