Lucknow: Two girls injured in crude bomb blast

Two girls were injured today when a crude bomb exploded in a heap of garbage in the old city area in Lucknow.

The incident took place near Aishbagh Idgah area where the girls were playing near the garbage site, police said.

The injured girls were rushed to hospital where their condition was stated to be out of danger.

Two crude bombs were also recovered from the garbage heap, they said, adding they were trying to ascertain the nature of the explosive.

Senior police officials have reached the spot and investigation was on.

The police suspected it to be the handiwork of some mischievous elements.
