M'rashtra announces reward for info on blasts

A reward of Rs 25 lakh will be given to anyone providing accurate information regarding Tuesday's serial blasts.

Maharashtra government on Wednesday announced a reward of Rs 25 lakh to anyone providing accurate information regarding Tuesday's serial blasts on suburban trains in the city.

"Rs 25 lakh would be given to anyone who provides us accurate information and leads in the blasts probe. The amount would be given to the person if the information is found useful," Deputy Chief Minister RR Patil informed the state assembly while replying to a discussion on an adjournment notice on the issue

The name of the person who provides the information would be kept secret, Patil, who also holds the Home Portfolio, said.
