In a fresh case of official apathy, a glaring case of delay in the disbursement of gratuity, leave encashment and other facilities has come to light here on Friday.

Retired deputy manager of UP State Warehousing Corporation, Rajnath Tripathi, has been running from pillar to post to ensure disbursement of gratuity, leave encashment and security money for the last one year. Rajnath Tripathi, who retired on July 31, 2005 from UP State Ware Housing Corporation, Lucknow, is seeking justice through Right to Information Act.

Tripathi, a resident of Shivpur area in Varanasi, said that he had submitted several applications to the corporation but no concerned official bothered to hear his plea. He said he had also met senior officials in this regard but they never showed their concern on the issue.

Tripathi filed an application under the Right to Information Act today to get justice. “Now I am seeking clarification and justice about the delay in disbursement of his gratuity, leave encashment and other facilities which is my right to get soon after retirement,” he said and added that it has become hard for his family members to manage family expenses.
