Mission 2012 has become a political destination not only for political leader - Rahul Gandhi, Mulayam Singh, Mayawati but also for top Mafia leaders who are either in jail or living in underground world. The political leaders are understood to have finalized their candidates informally for the 2012 Assembly elections and have told them to start nursing their constituencies right from now.

Similarly the other plan of politician who are in politics by virtue of being leaders of strong armed men have started contacting their close associates through their agents and supporters.

In particular the four-top Mafiosi of Aligarh District - Jeyveer Singh Guddu ex Zila Prishad Chairman and one time close associate of former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh, Haji Mujahid Guddu, Khalid alias Pappu and Harendra Singh too are keenly awaiting for the year 2012, precisely hoping to get freedom from fear after possible change of regime in the state as the present government is getting their cases investigated and charge sheets field in courts. Not only this last week, the district administration has attached their properties of cost worth Rs. 15 crores. Out of the four said Mafiosi Tajveer Singh Guddu and Harendra Singh are in Jail.

As far as Tejveer Singh Guddu and Mujahid Guddi are concerned they had seen lot of political upheavals but not only contesting assembly elections but also controlling RLD and BSP respectively.

Tejveer Singh Guddu had lot of political and administrative experience as in the regime of BJP when Kalyan Singh was Chief Minister had won the Zila Parishad Chairman seat by huge margin. He was in jail in several criminal cases including alleged murder of ex MLA of Iglas Chaudhary Malkhan Singh. It is noted Iglas is his political playing ground. At present devoid of all facilities and comforts of life his in passing his life within four wall of various jails including Aligarh and Mainpuri. Apart dozen cases are pending in various courts against him.

Haji Muhjahid Guddu a BSP leader who was lost MLA election from Gangiri Assembly Constituency in 2007 on BSP ticket has been implicated in two dozen cases including murder, last month Mujahid Guddu was expelled from BSP and on June 16 district administration has attached his properties worth cost Rs. 8 crore.

Mujahid Guddu's younger brother Khalid alias Pappu associated with Samajwadi Party have planning to contest assembly election from Koil seat of Aligarh city, about dozen criminal cases are pending in various courts including murder and threat against him.

Harendra Singh who are main accused in famous Tarun Gautam murder case and associated with Congress Party is facing more than one dozen criminal cases also interested in assembly election. His properties had been attached by district administration.

Although all these claimed they are not Mafiosi. We are indulged only family disputes and family members lodge several cases against them.

So these mafias are thus passing a life, which is worse than hell as there seems to be no relief in sight for them. In such uncertainty the only ray of hope for them seems to be 2012 when a political shake up may emerge where in they could fit in their interest, which for the being is to come out of the conferment, they have been kept in.
