A major train accident was averted in Odisha on Wednesday.
The Koraput-Howrah Samaleswari Express grazed a goods train moving in the same direction near the Jharsugda railway station, about 370 km northwest of Bhubaneswar, around 2am.

One passenger was injured and two AC coaches were damaged in the collision which happened at low speed, said an official.
