Addressing the meeting held in Lucknow on March 12, the BJP leaders directed the district units to shortlist such divisional-level workers who have two wheelers. Besides, the party think-tank also directed the district units to form an ‘election army’ as soon as possible.

All for party’s revival. It seems the Bharatiya Janata Party, in a bid to regain lost glory in the State, has decided not to leave any stone unturned and has virtually switched over to election mode to ensure better results.

The party think-tank is of the view that workers with two-wheelers would come handy for the party during election time, as mobility for them would not be a problem. The party leaders have further decided to utilise such workers during elections in a more efficient manner.

The directive states that appointment of the election army in charge at each district should be carried out as soon as possible. Besides, the directive states that the election army in charge should be such that he could appoint at least 20 personnel each, assembly constituency wise. The 20 election army personnel would also have an in-charge, who would coordinate with the personnel. The personnel would be entrusted with the duty of stressing on door-to-door contact and thereby, telling people about the ideology and policies of the party.
But, will the party achieve its objective, only time will tell.
