Maoists blow up school in Bihar

Suspected Maoist guerrillas blew up a government school in Bihar's Rohtas district, police said today. Armed Maoists used dynamite to blow up a government school building in Yadunathpur in Rohtas, 150 km from Patna on Thursday, police officers said.

Armed Maoists used dynamite to blow up a government school building in Yadunathpur in Rohtas, 150 km from Patna Thursday, police officers said.

According to police, three rooms of the school were badly damaged in the incident.

Just three days ago Maoists had blasted another school building in Rohtas.

Superintendent of Police Vikas Vaibhav said they have launched a combing operation against the guerrillas.
