Maoists kidnapped a former naib sarpanch last night and his bullet riddled body was found on Saturday in Odisha's Malkangiri district, police sources said.
A group of Maoists took away Gangadhar Chalan Friday night and his body was found in a forest nearby with the throat slit and gunshot wounds on the body, Inspector in-Charge of Mathili police station, Debasis Mishra said.

The Maoists suspected Chalan of being a police inspector and eliminated him, police sources said.
