Armed Maoists killed three persons, including a village head, by chopping off their heads in Vimbandh forest area of Bihar's Munger district early today.

Armed Maoists killed three persons, including a village head, by chopping off their heads in Vim Bandh forest area of Bihar's Munger district early on Tuesday.

The Maoists had kidnapped the village head of Murade, Sanjay Paswan and two villagers Pramod Paswan and Sourav Das a couple of days ago, police said.

Their bodies were recovered by police from near Rameshwar 'kund' inside the Bhimband forest, they said.

A combing operation has been launched to flush out the ultras.
