At a meeting held on Monday, both the departments discussed the modalities of the transfer process. The MCG has asked the development authority to give them a blueprint of costs and revenue of all these sectors, which are likely to be transferred by September, though no formal deadline has been set as yet.

"We have asked Huda to give us the revenue and expenditure details of all sectors to be transferred. The next meeting will be called only after they submit the report," said a senior MCG official who was present at the conference. Huda administrator Nitin Yadav also attended the meeting.

Dismissing rumours that a few sectors have already been transferred to the civic body, Yadav told Hindustan Times, "No sectors have been transferred so far (as reported by a national daily last month). Upkeep of all areas will be handed over in due course of time. No time frame, however, can be fixed as of now."
