After a letter from MCI regarding the visit was received on Monday, a meeting of all heads of departments has been called on Wednesday afternoon to discuss the forthcoming visit, college sources said.

It is after more than 10 years that the MCI team is visiting for inspection of staff, facilities and equipment regarding PG courses.

MCI has also asked the college administration to deposit Rs 50,000 per subject (effectively Rs 16 lakh) before the visit apart from expenditure on the team members’ lodging and boarding during their visit, the sources said.

Names of the three members who would come for inspection have been informed to the college authorities, who have also been asked to mutually decide the date for the visit.
