Medanta staff bus hit by another bus, 2 nurses hurt

Two nurses were injured when the staff bus of Medanta Hospital was hit from the rear by another bus at Bakhtawar Chowk in Gurgaon on Wednesday morning.

Two nurses were injured when the staff bus of Medanta Hospital was hit from the rear by another bus at Bakhtawar Chowk in Gurgaon on Wednesday morning.

The driver of the errant bus, owned by Sri Ram travel agency, was coming from Sohna road and lost control while taking a turn and rammed into the hospital bus.

A case was registered against the travel agency driver and conductor who fled the spot after the accident.

Ram Singh, an eyewitness, said, “The travel agency bus came and collided into the hospital bus. The women were screaming and crying. We took them out with the help of a traffic constable.”

The injured nurses are out of danger. Both buses have been seized by the police.
