Meerut fire tragedy: Kalam condoles deaths

At least 45 people were charred to death and scores were injured in the accident.

President APJ Abdul Kalam has condoled the loss of lives in the devastating fire that took place at a consumer electronic goods fair at a park in Meerut on Monday.

In a message to the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, President Kalam wished speedy recovery of those who were injured in the tragdey, a Rashtrapati Bhawan spokesman said.
