Mehbooba, Omar win in J&K

PDP president Mehbooba Mufti has won the Anantnag seat by defeating her nearest NC rival Mehboob Beg by a margin of 38,000 votes.

National Conference president Omar Abdullah registered a hattrick by retaining Srinagar parliamentary seat. Omar defeated his nearest PDP rival Ghulam Nabi Lone by a margin of nearly 20,000 votes.
