The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation will soon invite bids from private players to open shops in the six-floor building. The commercial building, which has been built on green-building specification, is likely to become a happening place for city residents.

The building was supposed to be completed in October last year. Later, the deadline was extended to March this year.

The commercial building of Huda City Centre Metro station in Sector 29 is the only station in the DMRC’s network that will have Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment (GRIHA) certification. A team from The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) will soon visit the complex for final audit before issuing the green certification.

“We have completed the civil work of the building and finishing touches are underway which will be over by this month end. We will soon invite the TERI team for its inspection of the building,” said Daljit Singh, chief project manager, DMRC.

The Huda City Centre Metro station will have a parking space of 6,500 sqm, one of the largest parking lots in the entire DMRC network.
The Metro station will not only be developed as shopping and entertainment centre, it will be first eco-friendly station with GRIHA certification.

Also, it has second largest parking space (for about 6,500 vehicles).
