A militant hideout was busted by security forces and ammunition and explosives were recovered from it in the border district of Poonch, officials said on Friday.

On a tip off, troops of Rashtriya Rifle and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Police launched a search operation in Thunder Tekri forests in the border district and busted the militant hideout on Thursday, they said.

Recovery from the hideout include 830 rounds of AK ammunition, four AK magazines, four chinese grenades, they said, adding no arrest was made in this connection.
