A militant hideout has been busted in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district. Media reports said on Thursday that the hideout was busted in a joint operation by army soldiers and state police personnel.

A cache of ammunition and explosive material was also retrieved from the spot.

The search operation was carried out in the district's Chatru area, defence spokesperson S N Acharya, was quoted, as saying.
