Military special train derails in Shahdol

Three wagons of a military special train today derailed near East Railway Yard of the railway station here disrupting rail traffic on the UP line under South East Central Railway, official sources said.

Three wagons of the train, that was on its way to Katni from Bilaspur, got derailed when it entered the Shahdol station area, the sources said.

Though army men were also traveling in the train, only those wagons got derailed which were carrying their goods, they said adding that no soldier or civilian were injured in the mishap.

Senior railway officials reached the spot and restored the rail traffic.
