"The fire was reported in the upper storey of Oasis school cum creche at Gogjibagh. It was doused by fire brigade personnel," an official of the fire and emergency services department said.

He said all the students and staff of the school were evacuated safely and no one was hurt in the incident.

The blaze damaged the upper storey of the school. The cause of the fire is ascertained, he added.
