In the second such incident within a week in Jammu and Kashmir, an eight-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her teacher at Khwaja Bagh in Baramulla district, police said.
The accused, Arif Lone, a private school teacher, took the girl to a secluded place after giving her sweets and then raped her, they said.

On hearing the girl's cries, pedestrians caught hold of Lone, beat him, seated him on a donkey and handed him over to the police.
A case has been registered against him.
On April 20, a teenaged student was allegedly raped by her teacher Washim Ahmed in downtown Srinagar.
