Greying of hair is one of the signs of ageing process. But now the cosmetic company L'Oreal promises to create a hair product that can turn your grey strands to their original colour.

The new research and development is strictly under wraps right now, but the company is confident that it will succeed in making this innovation, although it may be several years off.

In the meantime, L'Oreal has just unveiled another revolutionary hair dye, one that doesn't contain ammonia - so no stink and no itch or irritation!

Women have traditionally relied on hair dyes that contain ammonia to remove colour from hair, before the dye pigments get to work. L'Oreal has just invented a new hair colourant called INOA [Innovation No Ammonia] that doesn't contain any ammonia. It is far gentler on the hair, to the extent that it improves its condition with every use and can - almost - return hair to its pre-dyed condition.

'This is exciting because it's revolutionary,' celebrity hair colourist Jo Hansford told the Mail. 'It is much less aggressive and there is far less fade, which is a huge bonus for the customer, especially for women with fine hair.'
